It is made from a hardwood European beechwood and hand finished to create the soft angles of an oval shape so no sharp corners to hit an active toddler or your hips! It also pairs perfectly with a round or oval cot, due to its unique shape. The four soft close drawers, will protect little (and big fingers) and are the perfect storage solution for your baby’s delicate clothes, which are unable to be hung in a cupboard. The discreet changing table on top is ergonomically designed for your back, shoulders and neck as you are better supported whilst changing your baby, at the optimal height. Best of all, it is designed in accordance with parenting expert’s advice, which recommends a side change table position. This side angle (rather than a forward position) allows you to engage your baby with eye contact whilst still accessing your drawers to the side, so it is much safer for your baby. It is also made safer with the all-round barrier to help contain a change mat and a wriggly little baby. Product Care & Warranty The Sova Chest is a hand constructed piece of furniture. It is not machine constructed so it will have many natural imperfections which result from moulding and forming the unique curved shape. These aren’t manufacturing faults but are the natural features of a hand constructed real timber product. Every chest is unique, and each will have these imperfections including slight variations in the draw alignments and spacing as we need to curve the European beechwood timber to form the unique oval shape. This is the inherent beauty of a real timber oval chest, that is hand finished. If you wish to remove the drawers for any reason, please note the positioning of each draw as each drawer is made for each position and are not interchangeable. Please unlock the drawers, prior to removing them as you will break mechanism if you pull out the drawers without unlocking them.
