This charming limited edition Halcyon Days enamel box marks the Diamond Wedding Anniversary of HM Queen Elizabeth and HRH the Duke of Edinburgh. They were married in Westminster Abbey in 1947, and celebrated their Diamond Anniversary in 2007. The gold and beige decoration on the box is inspired by the embroidery on the Queen’s Norman Hartnell wedding dress. The couple are shown in silhouette on the lid, surrounded by delicate floral and foliage patterns. Inside, there’s commemorative text and the Royal coat of arms. Crafted in Bilston, once the heart of Britain’s enamelling industry, the box uses the traditional technique of enamel on copper. Limited edition of 250 Length: 84mm
