This collector’s edition box from Halcyon days marks the 60th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, 8 May 1945. The famous VE Day celebrations followed the surrender of the German Forces to the Allies, and commemorative events are still held every year. The round enamel box features the RAF’s victory flypast over St Paul’s Cathedral, a London landmark that came to represent the country’s undefeatable spirit. Around the base, we see cheering crowds and a recreated newspaper report. The round box is crafted in Bilston from enamel-coated copper. This traditional technique creates the perfect surface for paint, capturing the bright colours of the artwork. Limited edition of 250 Diameter: 4cm
