Halcyon Days Jack Vettriano The Waltzers Enamel Box

This charming Halcyon Days enamel box is decorated with a painting by Scottish artist Jack Vettriano, in his distinctive, vintage style. The original painting is called The Waltzers. Despite its Art Deco feel, it was painted in 1992. It features couples dancing at party; and in typical Vettriano style, the focus is on their silhouettes and sense of movement, not their faces. The square enamel box is made in Bilston, the traditional heart of the British enamelling industry. It is crafted from copper with an enamel coating, which brings the painting’s colour to life.
