It’s always fun to see a vintage (and pretty rare) Gibson Thunderbird Bicentennial Bass pop up! This is a ’76 Bicentennial, part of a run of 1,855 basses built to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. This bass has been played over the years, and it shows in players wear throughout the body. There are authentic areas of play wear around the pickups, and a replaced strap pin from the upper side of the body to the back of the neck heel. The bass plays wonderfully, and has a great vibe about it. The original hardshell case is included, however no pickup covers. Includes: Original Hardshell Case Solidbody Electric Bass Mahogany Body 9-Ply Mahogany/Walnut Neck Rosewood Fretboard 34″ Scale Length 1.5 Nut Width 20 Frets Thunderbird Bird Rhythm and Lead Pickups 2 Volume, 1 Tone Controls 3-Point Adjustable Bridge Grover Bass Tuners Nickel Hardware 9 lbs, 11 oz. .820″ Neck Thickness at 1st Fret .960″ Neck Thickness at 12th Fret
