The Avante by Veillette Gryphon takes the unique short-scale design by Veillette Guitars and turns it into a very affordable, Korean made instrument. The Gryphon is an instrument with a short scale and custom gauge strings that bring the tuning to a High D, with lots of character and natural chorus to the sound. The build is all solid spruce and mahogany woods, with a built-in pre-amp with volume and treble roll-off controls mounted into the soundhole. There’s not much out there with a sound and feel quite like the Gryphon.
